Would you then think that co-ordinating and keeping the mayor " in the loop" on projects in his city was important? I remember why some areas flooded that shouldn't have in '79. He gives himself away when he says the supplemental programs should be "coordinated with the City of Jackson." <br /><br />In other words, King Harvey wants to be in control of the District's activities. If not outright control, he wants corporate lips to be chapped on his haughty ass before the District does anything.<br /><br />I wonder if it's ever dawned on King Harvey that maybe there's a reason they don't want him involved in the District's activities. Said reason being that they don't want it fucked up. <br /><br />King Harvey is a career government worker (when he wasn't employed by grant-funded non-profits that he founded). His endless deliberation, constant urban-planning-theory-tweaking and bureaucratic inertia can only interfere with the District's goals.
