I think that you hit the nail on the head.

Politics gets dirtier every election and sadly it's not (for the most part, Hinds County finally got a break) what you know or can do, but who you know and how much money do you have. Y...@6:31, you're looking at this the wrong way. Yes, in theory they want to work for you the same way an applicant for a fast-food job wants to work for the owner. In reality, though, you (the owner) have to fill a position with the least abhorrent of the applicants you're faced with. Sad, but true. And, his father...He's a nice looking young man. And, his father was doing well as mayor.
I would, however, like to know something about his background.
What is his education? Was he a good student? Has he been successful in his own right?
This young man and his family has my sympathy as the loss is great, but sympathy is a poor reason to vote for anyone.
Indeed, I'd like the all the candidates to give me a resume, not rhetoric.
I want them to appeal to my brain and not my emotions.
In theory, they all want to work for me. Apply for the job. Why do you want the job? What are your qualifications? Why should I think you can do the job better than other candidates?
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
